About Me

My name is Starling Fernandez, and I am passionate about animation and visual effects. I have had the opportunity to work on various films with different challenges, allowing me to increase my knowledge and experiences in my field. In 2023, I was honored to receive an EMMY Award for the documentary 'Sin Fronteras Resilience Camino al Éxito'.

I enjoy studying and staying updated on new technologies and tools that help improve my work and personal growth. I attend workshops, take courses, and continuously update my skills. In recent years, I have gained a solid understanding of photography and lighting. In my free time, I like to be with my family, go to the cinema, the beach, the theater, and read a good book.

One of the characteristics people seek in my services is the responsibility and commitment I assume in each project I am involved in, along with the creative ideas I develop to reach the final stage of the work.

Not only do I have experience in post-production, but I also enjoy being on a film set, where I have knowledge as a camera operator, lighting, and shot direction. One of the latest aspects I have been growing my expertise in is VFX Supervisor On-Set, where I have been able to participate in various projects, overseeing the creation of visual effects from pre-production to the final delivery of the shot to the client.
